Rupee hits New High, BSE Sensex crosses 19,000 Mark

TNI Bureau: There is more good news for the Indian market. The Indian Rupee breached the 52-leve to reach 51.93 against the US Dollar – highest in the last 5 1/2 months. The BSE Sensex also breached the 19,000 mark – first time since July 2011.

The BSE Sensex was trading at 19,061.46 – up 191 points. The Nifty was also trading at 5,789. As the government is expected to announce more reform measures, the Rupee and BSE Senses may have good times ahead.
