TNI Bureau: Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has decided that the students would appear the matric examination at their respective schools from this year. The move is a major relief for the students, who were facing transportation problem while going to other centres for the exam. The BSE has chosen as many as 2,500 schools as examination centres.

School & Mass Education minister Rabinarayan Nanda said that arrangements will be made for the students to appear the exam. However, teachers of the respective schools will be shifted to other centres to avoid any illegal practice during exam. Also the subject teacher will not be allowed as invigilators during the test.
