Yet again, Sonakshi Sinha proved that she can fit into any type of role as per the requirements of the situation. Nobody expected her to do such a wonderful job along with Ranveer Singh, who is yet to get his due despite many superlative performances. Undoubtedly, Ranveer-Sonakshi proved their mettle in ‘Lootera’.
The movie, which is termed as an epic love story, although has a focus on cops-and-robbers drama, displays an amazing storytelling, thanks to director Vikramaditya Motwane, who had produced an critically acclaimed movie ‘Udaan’ in 2010.

‘Lootera’ reminds us about classical Hindi cinema, with realistic story line and picturisation, but with a modern touch. According to the NDTV Review, “Lootera is a Bollywood miracle – a rare Mumbai film that is mounted on a lavish scale and yet dares not to play by the established norms of the marketplace.”
On the musical front, Music Director Amit Trivedi and Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya have played their parts. Cinematographer Mahendra J Shetty deserved the kudos for making things perfect and giving a Midas touch to the movie. After The year 2013 is turning really good for Bollywood, as the audience got yet another classic movie, which will touch their hearts and minds.
