It is not immediate known whether the theatres would dare to release the film today in the wake of strong opposition and protests from the Muslim groups. Also, the state government has not yet committed on high security for the release of the movie.

Since the Tamil Nadu government had immediately appealed against the verdict of the Madras High Court, a division bench of the HC would hear that petition later today.
