India may witness a big change in politics in the upcoming days as many leaders have hinted at the Third Front. After Samajwadi party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also sees the Third Front a ‘better option’.

While talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Patnaik ruled out any possibility that his party BJD will tie up with its former ally in the next general elections.

BJD had an alliance with BJP till 2009. However, the ruling party in Odisha is in no mood to join hands with its former ally again in the 2014 Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.

Seems like, many political parties, which have been the allies of Congress and BJP, will go for Third Front to form the government at Centre. Earlier, Mulayam had hinted at the possibility and the recent statement by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar suggested that the ‘Third Front’ will be a better option if BJP projects Narendra Modi as the prime ministerial candidate for the upcoming polls.
