ABP News-Nielsen Survey: BJP to win Delhi

BJPThe opinion poll conducted by ABP News-Nielsen predicted comfortable majority for the BJP in Delhi assembly polls. The survey claimed that BJP would win 46 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly. BJP had won 32 seats in 2013 polls.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which won 28 seats in 2013 polls, may end up at just 18 seats. The Congress may decline further by winning five seats as compared to eight won in December 2013.

Although Kejriwal still remains the popular CM candidate in Delhi with 39% votes, followed by Harshvardhan (38%), it’s ‘Brand Modi’ that is making all difference here. According to the survey, Modi is the most popular leader in Delhi with 63%, followed by Arvind Kejriwal (25%) and Rahul Gandhi (12%). People of Delhi appreciated the work done by AAP government in Delhi, but disapproved the way they left power after 49 days and went on to focus on Lok Sabha polls.
