BJP appoints 4 Observers for Maharashtra, Haryana

rajnath-singhThe BJP Parliamentary Board Party has appointed two Observers each for Maharashtra and Haryana to oversee the government formation in these states. Former BJP President and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and another senior leader JP Nadda have been entrusted the task of taking the right decision vis-a-vis Maharashtra.

In Haryana, the BJP has already secured a majority. The party has appointed former BJP President and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu along Dinesh Sharma to explore all options and choose the right candidate as the Chief Minister of the state.

In Maharashtra, Rajnath and Nadda may hold talks with Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray to ensure a post-poll alliance between both parties. They had ended their 25-year-old alliance in Maharashtra only a few days before the polls. The BJP have won 123 out of 288 seats. Shiv Sena has won 63 seats. If they join hands, then it will be easier for the BJP.

The NCP has already extended unconditional support to BJP from outside. So, if the Shiv Sena does not relent, then BJP may wish to form a minority government in Maharashtra and try to garner more political as well as public support.
