China and India have withdrawn their troops on Sunday evening from the face-off point at Daulat Beg Oldie (DBO) near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh.

Both sides have now agreed to maintain the status quo of the positions held prior to April 15, which India had pushed for and China had not agreed to in three previous flag meetings.

Chinese troops had entered about 19-kilometers inside Indian Territory in in the Depsang Valley near the LAC. Soon after, India set up its own post just 500 metres away.
