The court order came on a petition filed by the BJP inc connection with the speech Owaisi delivered by him in Nirmal town of Adilabad on December 24. The PIL alleged that Owaisi, who is also the MLA, was trying to incite communal passions.

Reacting to the matter after 10 days, Reddy said that Law will take its own course. The court has already admitted a criminal complaint against him. Owaisi had allegedly spoken using inflammatory and derogatory words in Adilabad.

Expressing surprise over no reaction came from the politicians over the speech,, some raised their eyebrows on the social media sites. Actor and director Farhan Akhtar had tweeted, “how can 2 girls be arrested in less than 24 hrs for a harmless FB post but Owaisi roams free after his blatantly communal rant?#JustAsking.”
