TNI Bureau: TV channels in India are abuzz with the sensational news that Samajwadi Party MP from Rampur, Jaya Prada is moving closer to the BJP and may contest on the Lotus ticket in 2014.
Jaya Prada, who is very close to former Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh, had recently met BJP President Nitin Gadkari, reports said. She reportedly got the green signal from Gadkari.

Since Jaya Prada was associated with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) till 2000, it is believed that BJP would use her services to woo back Chandrababu Naidu to the NDA fold.
BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, who always contested from Rampur Lok Sabha seat, could be moved to Amroha, if Jaya Prada joins the party.
