BJP-CongressThe BJP will retain power in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh even though there is a revival of the Congress in these states. Shivraj Singh Chauhan will return to power for a third consecutive term, while Raman Singh will hold his ground.

According to the TIMES Now-CVoter Poll, BJP will win 130 seats in the 230-member Madhya Pradesh Assembly, leaving 84 to the Congress. On the other hand, BJP will win 47 out of 90 seats in Chhattisgarh. The Congress is projected to win 40.

In Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje will bounce back with an overwhelming majority. BJP could win 118 seats in the 200-member assembly, while the Congress may win just 64 seats.

Delhi may spring a surprise though. Although BJP could win 30 seats in the 70-member assembly, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) may spoil its chances by winning seven seats on its own. The Congress is fighting neck-and-neck and could win 29 seats. So, there is no sight of any clear results in Delhi as of now.

On the national scenario, the survey predicted a big thumbs up for BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, saying he could swing the mood of the nation.
