It is believed that expelled Congress leader Soumya Ranjan Patnaik will also join the grand alliance or ‘Maha Morcha’ to take on the ruling BJD and opposition Congress. They will have a single point agenda to oust Naveen Patnaik from power, who looks invincible at this moment even after ruling the state for 13 years.
Both BJP and Pyari know that they cannot match the BJD government in 2014 polls, thanks to the charismatic and clean image of Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik. So, it is essential for them to join hands to fight him. And, Utkal Bharat founder Kharavela Swain’s clean image and able administration may come handy for them along with the outreach and political brinkmanship enjoyed by Soumya Ranjan Patnaik.
