TNI Bureau: Odisha Janmorcha (OJM) President Pyari Mohan Mohapatra held a press meet in Bhubaneswar today and alleged that the telephones of all people who are in touch with him, are being tapped by the BJD government in Odisha.
He sought resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, saying he is indulged in illegal activities to retain power. As the CM in charge of Home Department, he should resign, taking moral responsibility, said Pyari.
Pyari Mohapatra further claimed that telephones of over 4,000 people have been tapped since March 2012. Meanwhile, the BJD rubbished the allegations and said that phone tapping was done only for criminal investigation in accordance with the law. The party denied the claims that phone tapping was done for political manipulations.
