Veteran sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik will represent India at an international sand festival in Denmark capital Copenhagen. The second edition of the nine-day event will commence from May 12.
A total of 17 countries will take part in the event. Besides India, other countries included Japan, Russia, Italy, Ireland, Czech Republic, Bulgeria, Ukraine, Spain, Canada, Holland, Ireland and Denmark will be the participants.
This time, Sudarsan will make a 15-feet high sand sculpture with a theme on environment. Recently, the artist had bagged the Choice Prize at World Sand Art Championship in Moscow.
