Jaidev Unadkat’s maiden five-wicket haul and Virat Kohli’s 99 helped Bangalore to win over Delhi by 4 runs at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Friday night. Delhi registered another loss in the ongoing IPL tournament this year.

Delhi won the toss, but elected to field first. Even though, Cheteshwar Pujara and Chris Gayle could not make much runs, skipper Virat Kohli played a smart game. He scored 99 off 58 balls. The team scored 183/4 in 20 ovs.

Chasing the target, Sehwag and Mahela Jayawardene batted well, but were dismissed by Unadkat. Chand and Rohrer struggled to collect few runs, but could not stand for a long period. However, some big hits from Irfan Pathan and Morne Morkel kept Delhi in the contest. At the end of the game, Bangalore emerged victorious by 4 runs as Delhi were restricted at 179/7 in 20 ovs. To lose the match was disappointing for Delhi.

Jaidev Unadkat was the MoM for his haul of 5/25. He is the second Bangalore bowler to take a five wicket haul in the history of the tournament.
