Rajasthan Royals Owner Raj Kundra in Trouble!

Rajasthan Royals’ co-owner Raj Kundra, who had to undergo an intense 12-hour questioning in Delhi, is bracing for a big trouble even though he praised the Delhi Police for doing a great job to clean up the cricket mess. Kundra’s passport was seized by the Delhi Police. Kundra’s wife Shilpa Shetty is also the co-owner of Rajasthan Royals.

According to sources, Kundra admitted to doing cricket betting. However, there may not be any allegation against him in connection with spot-fixing. The spot-fixing scandal came to light only after the arrest of Rajasthan Royals players S Sreesanth, Ankit Chavan and Ajit Chandila.

Raj Kundra has reacted sharply to the media reports about his alleged involvement in betting. “Media has misconstrued everything using… Unreliable sources. Try speaking to the Main guys at crime branch. Why does media hype things and make such stupid claims to sell news,” he tweeted. However, Delhi Police Commissioner confirmed that Raj Kundra betted on his own team, but lost a lot of money.

Kundra was dragged into this controversy after the interrogation if his driend Umesh Goenka, who was in touch with many Rajasthan Royals players and even used to get information about the team strategy. Umesh’s name was revealed by another RR player Siddharth Trivedi, who recently turned a witness in this case.
