In an absolute thriller tonight, Rajasthan Royals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eliminator to take a step forward towards a berth in the final. They will now take on the Mumbai Indians in a virtual semifinal.

Hyderabad managed to score just 132/7 in 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan (33), Cameron White (31) and Sammy (29) were the top contributors. Vikramjeet Malik took two wickets.

Chasing a victory target of 133, Rajasthan lost five wickets for just 57 runs on board. However, Brad Hodge had other plans in mind. He scored an unbeaten 54 off 29 balls, as Rajasthan Royals reached 135/6 in 19.2 overs and won the match by 4 wickets. Shane Watson made 24. Sammy took two wickets. Brad Hodge was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
