Though, Honda is yet to officially confirm, rumor is that a 7 seater Brio MPV from Honda is in making. Honda Brio small car’s platform has already extended to sedan in the form of newly launched Amaze in India.
The available expectation about the yet to be released Honda Brio MPV is that it carries the same front and side-view as that in the Amaze, while the rear seems rather disproportionate, probably due to the fact that it is based on Honda‘s CR-V. Most other features of the upcoming vehicle is expected to be in line of the ‘Amaze’ that boasts a 1.5L i-DTEC engine and delivers 100 PS power and 200 Nm torque, with an impressive mileage of 25.8 kmpl.
The yet-to-be launched Brio-based MPV is powered with some extra features as a response to customer feedback. The vehicle will include driver seat height adjustment and a rear de-fogger.
The petrol and diesel versions of the upcoming vehicle would be powered with the 1.2 litre i-VTEC and 1.5 litre i-DTEC engines, respectively. The Honda i-VTEC petrol motor is rated with a peak power output of 87 bhp, whereas the i-DTEC oil burner churns out a class leading power of 98.7 bhp.
