Terror returns to America, Boston Stunned

For the first time since 9/11 attacks of 2001, terror returned to the United States of America, as the historic Boston city was rocked by two blasts, which left three dead and 141 injured. A high alert has been issued across America, while global markets have crashed after the terror attacks.

The blasts occurred near the finishing lines of Boston Marathon in Fairmount Copley Plaza hotel. Many people have lost their legs and other organs in the blasts. While an eight-year-old boy was among the dead, several other children were injured too.

There were chaos all around after the blasts. Smoke rose 50 ft in the air. According to Boston police, multiple portable devices were used in the blasts. Cellphone services have been shut in Boston to prevent any possible remote detonations. Two live bombs were defused by the cops.

US President Barack Obama has condemned the act, expressed condolence to the affected families and vowed to take stern action against the perpetrators. “We don’t know who did it and why, but we will get to the bottom of it,” he said.
