Microsoft Surface Tablet available Online in India

TNI Bureau: Even though the Microsoft Surface tablet has not been officially released in India, the device can be purchased online on Tradus.com for Rs 38,840. The tablet was launched on 26th October in the US.

The Microsoft Surface Tab, which uses Microsoft’s Clear Type HD display technology and runs Windows RT which is designed to only work on tablets. The device sports a 10.6-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen and internal memory of 32 GB that can be expanded up to 64 GB.

It also features front and rear cameras along with VaporMg, the molded magnesium casing that houses Surface’s components paired with a PVD finish. It weighs around 680g. It also includes a USB port, a micro SDXC slot, and a magnetic strip to attach accessories.

Based on an Nvidia Corp chip designed by ARM Holdings, the Surface will run a simplified version of Windows 8 that is not compatible with old Microsoft applications. The tablet features new app-style versions of Office mainstays such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and will include Xbox games, video and music apps.
