Despite warning by the US, two Latin American countries – Venezuela and Nicaragua – has offered asylum to Edward Snowden, who is accused of leaking the US secretive surveillance programme. The latest move by these two countries could be seen as a big disappointment for the US.

edward-snowdenSnowden, who is currently stranded at the Moscow airport, had sought asylum from other countries including India. However, India had rejected his request to avoid bitter relation with the US.
