TNI Bureau: According to latest reports, the Syrian forces have killed over 90 people in a massive rain across the string of villages in Houla in Central Syria. The death toll could go up further.
People were killed inside their homes and on streets, as the Syrian forces launched the biggest-ever offensive against the rebels. The forces used mortars and guns to silence the rebellion.
While the men were killed on the streets, the women and children were stabbed and gunned down in their houses, the reports claimed. Scores of dead bodies were seen scattered on the streets. They were covered in sheets and blankets.
Some amateur video online showed the dead bodies of children too. While the Syrian government blamed the massacre on some “armed terrorist groups”, the activists have claimed that it was the handiwork of the government forces.
